Starting June 9, “Le Notti Azzurre – Summer edition” returns to Cetara, a title in which the entire long and rich summer program of the Municipality of Cetara is encapsulated.
The Municipal Administration supports and promotes a rich billboard, to make the small fishing village a unique and evocative stage for events that will have the sea as a backdrop.

Music, lights and installations, video-mapping, shows for the older ones, activities for the younger ones and major events that combine Cetara’s famous gastronomy with art and culture, as well as folklore and traditions with contemporary elements.

The artistic-cultural programming includes a series of theatrical events, book presentations and talks with various themes; entertainment, especially for young people with music and concerts, will not be missing from the program.

The main event “Notte delle Lampare” returns on August 1, 2 and 3, the oldest and most representative event in the village of Cetara, now in its 47th edition. Three days of evocative events are planned, where the participant will be a spectator of a multifaceted open-air show, to enjoy the goodness of the typical Cetara catch to the sound of Mediterranean rhythms. For the occasion, the entire skyline of the village will be enriched by themed video-mapping.

“Cetara Incantata,” another regular feature of the summer program, will be held Aug. 21-23, three days in which circus art will merge with the village streets and end with a floating concert and fireworks display.

Notti Azzurre will conclude on September 1, with a sunrise concert on the renovated pier of Cetara harbor.
