How to get to Cetara

 

Cetara is located a few kilometers from Salerno, the second pearl of the Amalfi Coast, bathed by the Gulf of Salerno and surrounded by the mountains of the Monti Lattari Regional Park.

By plane

From Naples Capodichino airport take the bus to Naples central station. At the station you can take the local train or the Sita bus to Salerno. From Salerno take another Sita bus to Amalfi (Via Vietri) and get off at Cetara.

By train

You can also get to Salerno station with Trenitalia and Italo high-speed trains. At Salerno station, at the exit there is the bus stop where you can take the Sita bus to Amalfi (via Vietri) and get off at Cetara.

By car

Coming from the north you have to leave the A3 motorway (Naples-Salerno) at the exit of Vietri sul Mare, take the S.S. 163 Amalfitana and after 5 km you reach Cetara.

Also from the north you can reach Salerno via the motorway Rome-Caserta-Salerno A30 exiting at Mercato S. Severino. From the tollgate along the E841 motorway after a few minutes you get to Salerno. At the exit of Salerno follow the signs for the Amalfi Coast. Continue towards the Alfonso Gatto viaduct overlooking the commercial port of Salerno. Before arriving at the port turn right and follow the S.S. 18 until Vietri sul Mare. In Vietri take the S.S. 163 Amalfitana and after 5 km you reach Cetara.

From the south you can leave the A3 motorway at Salerno and continue towards the Alfonso Gatto viaduct overlooking the commercial port of Salerno. Before arriving at the port turn right and follow the S.S. 18 until Vietri sul Mare. In Vietri take the S.S. 163 Amalfitana and after 5 km you reach Cetara.
